Wells Fargo awards $10,000 to ARCH Community Housing Trust

By August 16, 2012September 11th, 2016Press Release

ARCH Community Housing Trust is thrilled to announce that we have been selected by Wells Fargo Bank  South Central Idaho area team members to receive a $10,000 grant as part of Wells Fargo’s 160thanniversary celebration.  ARCH was one of only four organizations in the Wells Fargo South Central Region to be nominated for the prestigious grant.

On March 18, 2012, Wells Fargo will celebrate their 160-year anniversary of working with customers to help them succeed financially. In celebration of this significant milestone and to thank customers and team members, Wells Fargo is donating to charities around the country and organizing local volunteer activities nationwide.  Across the Idaho Region Wells Fargo awarded 16 nonprofits $10,000 each in honor of the 160th anniversary.

ARCH will use the grant to further our mission of developing safe, permanently affordable housing for low to moderate income families in Blaine County.  Specifically, we are working to purchase and renovate homes which are then re-sold as deed restricted affordable housing.  We believe this approach will help to absorb market surplus, improve existing housing stock and create scattered site affordable housing.

There will be a formal check presentation at the River Street Senior Community 731 North River Street Hailey on Monday, March 19th at 10:00 am.
