HAILEY, IDAHO JULY 5, 2011 – ARCH COMMUNITY HOUSING TRUST in partnership with NEW BEGINNINGS HOUSING and AUTUMN GOLD SENIOR SERVICES announces that a ground breaking has been scheduled for the much anticipated RIVER STREET SENIOR COMMUNITY to be located at 731 North River Street in Hailey. Held on location at 1 pm on July 14, 2011, this event will be a celebration of aging in place for our senior population – the fastest growing sector of our community and the nation.
With a completion date of Spring 2012 ?, RIVER STREET is a much needed community asset. The project will provide 24 rental units for low income senior households aged 55 and older earning income at or below 60% of the area median income. At 690 and 900 square feet for 1 and 2 bedrooms respectively, the units will be designed to suit the needs and lifestyles of seniors and will include ammenities comparable to market rate developments in the area. Amenities will include: energy star standard appliances, in unit washers and dryers , high speed internet, cable and satellite TV, extra storage, private patios, covered assigned parking, elevator access to each floor and much more. There will be 3 units which will be fully handicapped accessible at the opening. One unit will be reserved for an on-site manager.
