Dave has been a home owner in Ketchum since 1997 and moved here full time in July 2007. He has been active in the community with several organizations including being on the Advisory Board of the Symphony, a Board Member of the Larkspur Condos and was recently invited to join the Board of the CDC (Ketchum Community Development Corporation). In addition, Dave conceived of and then organized the Earl & Carol Holding Tribute in January 2006 and has played a major role in the fundraising for the Ketchum Town Square, opening on July 2 of this year.
Dave’s business experience began with the Aetna Life Insurance Company selling group insurance products and subsequently group annuities. He then spent 13 years with an employee benefit & compensation consulting firm headquartered in Louisville, KY where he in time became the head of the Midwest Region. He left to become an executive recruiter in San Francisco ultimately starting his own firm where he received recognition as one of the top executive recruiters in the country. In 1992, Dave started NETSHARE, Inc. an executive job postings service which became NETSHARE.com. The company was recognized by FORTUNE and Forbes magazines as “the best executive job site” back in the late ‘90’s. Dave transferred ownership to a long time employee in March of this year.
Dave is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH with a BA in Economics.
