Job Description

ARCH Community Housing Trust is a non-profit affordable housing development organization serving low to moderate income households in Blaine County. Using a variety of funding mechanisms, we finance, build and own affordable rentals and we sell affordable ownership properties. We work in partnership with local jurisdictions and community organizations to deliver housing to our community.

Position Overview

The Assistant to the Executive Director will provide outreach, analysis and logistics in three key areas: donor relations, organizational operations and resident relations. The ideal candidate will deliver solutions with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality. This position has high visibility with donors, board members and residents, and there is significant opportunity for growth and increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Relations 50%
  • Provide logistical support to ED including scheduling meetings, sending correspondence and compiling and analyzing reports from donor database.
  • Become highly proficient with donor database tools.
  • Provide administrative support for acknowledgement and outreach letters.
  • Ensure mailing list for annual reports and newsletters is accurate.
  • Deliver all logistics for fundraising event including: schedule, program, seating, attendance confirmations, recording pledges and donations.
Organizational Operations 30%
  • Take minutes for all full board and committee meetings and ensure that minutes are uploaded to the board portal.
  • Update and distribute board onboarding packet and meeting documents.
  • Ensure property tax exemptions are updated and filed.
  • Ensure that listing of property portfolio is updated and distributed to partners.
  • Provide analysis of market rental rates by surveying classified ads and Facebook.
  • Provide analysis of business sectors served by ARCH residents.
  • Research grant opportunities.
  • Collect and distribute mail.
Resident Relations 20%
  • Process monthly rents including deposits, ledger and any late notices and fees.
  • Execute weekly checks on vacant units.
  • Manage waitlist, ensure that it is current and provide team with details for vacant units.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in skills outlined below through relevant work experience.

Skills

  • Highly organized
  • Strong database, excel and general computer / tech skills
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality with resident and donor information
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Ability to adjust to changes in priorities
  • Some evenings required

Compensation

Starting Salary $65,000 annually, 2% retirement contribution with option for employee contributions, housing is possible.
This is a full-time position based in the Hailey office. Some work from home or remote locations is allowable.
