ARCH COMMUNITY HOUSING TRUST announces a $3,000 grant from Washington Federal Bank. This important funding will allow ARCH to continue to grow the Self Sustaining Single Family Program. This program enables ARCH to deliver affordable housing while simultaneously becoming a self-sustaining organization. Under this program, ARCH develops single family rental homes serving households earning 80% or less of area median income. The rental stream from these homes provides operating income to ARCH ensuring that 100% of future donations support the delivery of affordable housing.
The Mission of ARCH Community Housing Trust is to develop, safe, permanently affordable housing for persons of low to moderate income and to work with all interested public and private parties towards this objective. “We work in partnership with the Blaine County Housing Authority who provide direction regarding the income category of the homes and also match households from the BCHA waiting list with homes we develop,” states Michelle Griffith, Executive Director of ARCH. “Since 2014, Washington Federal has donated over $10,000 to support ARCH development programs.”
