Born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, N.Y., Hendricks graduated from the University of Notre Dame and spent his career working in investing and finance in the San Francisco Bay Area. He moved to Sun Valley with his wife, Lisa-Marie Allen, a former Olympic figure skater, on a full-time basis in 2008.
