Sandy Christiansen

Director

Sandy was born in Salinas, CA. and raised in Los Angeles Co. Sandy has always enjoyed athletics and being outdoors. She met and married her husband, Don in California and started a family. In 1972 the family now including 4 children moved to Hailey, ID. Don was in the heating & cooling business and Sandy helped by keeping the books and raising the children. She also worked for Dr. Art Richards in a dental office for 28 years. Don & Sandy were members of the Hailey American Legion for many years.

All of Sandy’s children still live in the Wood River Valley along with many grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. Sandy has always been an active volunteer in the community and for her church. She has worked as an election official, with the Heritage Court Committee, the Hailey rodeo committee, the school district and now, ARCH.

Sandy became the first resident to live at the River Street Apartments and is one of our biggest cheerleaders for the building. ARCH asked her to be a board member because of her residency there.
